About Me

I am a student passionate about technology and electronics, especially in their physical behavior and manufacturing processes. I am also interested in new methods applied to innovation and development.

 

After finishing my Degree in Engineering of Specific Technologies of Telecommunication with Mention in Electronic Systems by the University of Valladolid (UVa), I did the Interuniversity Master in Nanoscience and Molecular Nanotechnology. I am currently doing my PhD in the Millimiter Wave Electronics group at ETH Zürich.

 

Traveling and playing sports are my favorite hobbies, though in my spare time I also reserve a slot for reading.

From Nov. 2016 to the present: PhD student at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). • Expertise in High-Frequency and Ultra-Low Noise Transistors (InP High Electron Mobility Transistors, HEMTs) . • Micro- and Nanotechnology & Cleanroom Fabrication. • Cryogenic DC, RF and Noise Measurements. • Teaching duties (Semiconductor Devices and High Speed Signal Propagation). • Responsible of Electron Beam Lithography machine (RaithTwo) and Ultra violet Ozone Cleaning System. From Oct. 2015 to July 2016: Interuniversity Master in Molecular Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Faculty of Sciences, University of Valladolid (Average grade 9.6/10). Awarded in regional category. Master dissertation: "Characterization and dynamics of Si self-interstitial clusters by self-learning kinetic Monte Carlo simulations". From Sept. 2011 to July 2015: Degree in Specific Telecom. Engineering: Mention in Electronic Systems, Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering, University of Valladolid (Average grade 8.5/10). Final Degree Project: "Simulation of defects in amorphous germanium". Awarded in national category.
